NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT TO SADAKATHULLAH APPA
COLLEGE, TIRUNELVELI - 627 011
The NAAC PEER
TEAM is visiting Sadakathullah Appa College on 3rd November, 2015
for Reaccreditation (III Cycle). In the year 2003, the College was accredited
by the NAAC with ‘B+’ Grade. Subsequently the College was reaccredited
with an ‘A’ Grade in 2009.
During the
three – day visit (03-05 November,2015) the PEER TEAM will assess the College
on the basis of Seven Criteria such as
i)
Curricular Aspects,
ii)
Teaching – Learning and Evaluation,
iii) Research, Consultancy and Extension,
iv) Infrastructure and Learning Resources,
v) Student Support and Progression,
vi) Governance, Leadership and
Management, and
vii) Innovations and Best Practices.
The Team Members will visit
the Offices of the Principal, the Managing Committee, the Coordinator of the
Internal Quality Assurance Cell, the Deans and the Controller of Examinations
to interact with them.
Also, the Team is visiting Departments, Laboratories,
Hostels and Canteens to assess the facilities and the services.
The entire
process is coordinated by Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal, Dr. A. Abdul Kader,
Director of Unaided Courses, Mr. K. Rabi
Ahamed, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. S. Mohamed Haneef, Assistant Coordinator, Dr. A. Asaraf
Ali, Advisor, IQAC, and the Members of the Steering Committee.
The Managing
Committee is extending its support to accomplish the tasks for facing the NAAC
PEER TEAM. The students of the College are involved in various activities to
support the Committees formed for this purpose.
